I met my husband in a restaurant. One way or another our lives have always revolved around food and our love for sharing that experience with one another and friends. Our passion for feeding and caring for people has always grounded us. Our home it is loud, filled with life (we have 4 kiddos and a not so well trained rescue dog) and centered around our table. Now we're planning to extend that table to everyone. We've found a space in the heart of Downtown Muskegon, walking distance to the Farmer's Market, our favorite breweries and wonderful specialty shops...can you say Cheese Lady? We know that there will be ups and downs (including the building) but in the end we'll raise a glass and celebrate a new local restaurant that's so exciting we can hardly contain it. Lots of people think about opening a restaurant, some even attempt it and a rare few find success. With odds like that it can be difficult to try but last fall my incredibly brave husband took a leap of faith and quit his job to become a restaurateur...without an actual restaurant, or even a building.
